Donate from your IRA Required Minimum Distribution
If you are 70.5 years of age or older and have an IRA, please consider donating from your RMD to OARS tax-free before year end.

If donated as a tax-free transfer, your donation counts toward your required minimum distribution and does not increase your adjusted gross income, therefore you will not pay any federal or state income taxes on the value of the donation. Note, you must have the RMD donation sent directly to OARS at 23 Bradford Street, Concord, MA 01742.
