Calling all Volunteers

This is our first hand-pulling of invasive water chestnut on the Sudbury River in Framingham. We will work in the area upstream of the Saxonville Dam. Volunteers are needed to assist in removal efforts both by boat (in a canoe) and on shore.

Boats are limited so please register early to reserve your space. Email or call 978-369-3956 to sign up.

Thursday, August 8 from 4:30 pm-7:30 pm.

Where: Centennial Place, Saxonville.
Wear: Clothes and shoes/sandals that can get wet & dirty. Long sleeve shirts are recommended.
Bring: Sunscreen, a hat, work gloves (if you have them), and water bottles
Change of clothes in your car is recommended
Canoes (with paddles and pfds) If you don't have one, we will have canoes available for those who sign up early!
We also need some people helping on shore!
