28th Annual River Cleanup

Join us along the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord Rivers for a morning of rewarding work with friendly people, followed by pizza celebrations along the rivers!
Join SVT and OARS for a paddle from Carlisle to Ralph Hill
Start at the Route 225 boat launch in Carlisle and paddle down river to Ralph Hill in Billerica, arriving around noon. Spend an hour enjoying lunch and a walk at Ralph Hill, followed by a return paddle up river (against a mild current) for about 2 hours, getting back to the cars around 3 pm.
This event is for experienced, strong paddlers with their own boats.

OARS or SVT members: free, Non-members: $10
Volunteers sample on Sunday mornings, May through November. In teams of three, they generally start at 5:30 am and work for 3 hours. Each team works at one of these sites:
Assabet River, Westborough to Marlborough
Assabet River, Berlin to Hudson
Assabet River, Acton to Concord
Sudbury River, Framingham to Concord
Concord River, Concord to Lowell
